Apprender Scholarship
Apprender Scholarships are the result of a strategic alliance with the Ecuadorian and American Community Fund (EANCF), aimed at students who wish to continue their professional training.
This collaboration began in 2024 with the goal of consolidating and strengthening itself in the coming years, thus expanding opportunities for academic and professional development.
- 01This scholarship is aimed at young people who want to transform their future. If you are in your final years of secondary education, did not get a place at university, or are looking for a real opportunity to grow, this program is for you. - You can apply if you meet any of these requirements: - You have demonstrated academic excellence or consistent effort in your studies. - Outstanding participation in sports, cultural, or community activities. - You are in a social or economic situation that limits your access to higher education.
- 02EANCF is a community of Ecuadorian Americans working together to provide a better future for the Ecuadorian diaspora and the United States through identity, culture, standards, vision, cooperation, financial literacy and entrepreneurship. Our community is committed to pooling our finances and resources to empower our members to have safer communities, stronger families, engaged children, financial independence and strong business-community partnerships. As followers of the Shuru community, we believe in establishing the nobility of the Ecuadorian people and wish to take active steps to maximize our contribution to the world and to ourselves. We have several objectives, mainly to connect all Ecuadorians in America, provide cultural and identity education, shape a collaborative worldview, maximize the impact of our community members through vision, principles, cooperation, collaboration, investment and management.
- 03The mode of study is virtual, allowing the student the possibility of working or doing complementary activities.
- 04The scholarship is aimed at Ecuadorian students who reside in Ecuador.
- 05The area of study is technology and software development, specifically focused on: Backend, Front end, Devops and Begginers Kids.
- 06To be an Ecuadorian national and resident. Have an active e-mail address. Have a minimum overall average of 8/10. Motivation letter, academic recommendations. Skills test. Interview. Other merits such as: sports, membership in social organizations, collaboration, etc.
- 07The selection process for scholarship recipients is carried out in a transparent and objective manner, carefully evaluating each applicant according to established criteria. Review of Qualifications Before proceeding with the selection process, we verify that each application meets the minimum requirements established in the call for applications, such as educational level, complete documentation, and compliance with the application deadlines. Academic and Merit Evaluation The academic performance of the applicants is analyzed, including: - Grade point average - Participation in extracurricular activities related to training. - Relevant personal and professional records. - Letters of recommendation. Motivation Letter Analysis The motivation letter is a key element in the selection process. It is evaluated: - Clarity of academic objectives - Reasons why you wish to obtain the scholarship. - Level of commitment and time availability Personal or Virtual Interview During the interview the following will be evaluated - Communication and expression skills. - Commitment to the training and the purpose of the scholarship. - Ability to face challenges and future goals. Deliberation and Final Selection Process Once all the criteria have been analyzed, the evaluation committee selects the applicants who best meet the profile sought. A list of scholarship recipients is drawn up and, in some cases, a waiting list in case a scholarship recipient must leave the awarded scholarship.

- 11How do I know if I have benefited: You will receive an email that must be confirmed within 4 days. What happens if I am selected, but cannot accept the scholarship? If you are selected for the scholarship, but cannot accept it for personal, academic or other reasons, it is important that you notify us as soon as possible. This will allow the scholarship to be reassigned to another candidate on the waiting list who also meets the requirements.
